What we do

Prepare the ground for your next planting

A food plot project starts with usable ground and a way to reach it. B.A.D. clears brush and small trees, reopens neglected plot areas and prepares sites intended for hunting food plots. Whether you are recovering an old opening or considering a new one, Brock starts with the condition of the land and your planned use.

The finished outcome

Work with a clear finish in mind.

The aim is a defined, accessible area prepared to the finish agreed on in your estimate. Clearing is not automatically the same as a planting-ready seedbed. We discuss remaining stumps, roots, surface material, grading needs and equipment access so you know what work is included before you arrange planting.

Who this is for

The right help for your property.

Deer hunters and hunting-property owners reclaiming old plots, opening a new plot area or improving the route used to bring equipment and supplies to the site.

Southern Illinois, on the ground

Local perspective. A practical plan.

Southern Illinois food plots may sit on open ground or at wooded edges, with different access and drainage constraints. Brock’s firsthand whitetail hunting experience helps keep the discussion practical. Seed selection, soil testing, fertilizer recommendations and wildlife outcomes are not part of our advertised land-work service.

Food Plot Preparation: common questions

Yes. We can remove unwanted growth and prepare the area to the agreed finish.

Do you plant food plots or recommend seed?

Our advertised service is clearing and site preparation. Planting, seed and soil recommendations are not included unless separately confirmed.

Can you improve access to the plot?

Yes. We can include trails or equipment access in the same property plan.

Will this guarantee more deer?

No. We improve the land and its usability. Hunting results depend on many factors.
